Possible Trajectories in History

There are many other ways that the Holocaust could have affected history. For example, if Hitler would have won the war there probably would not be anymore people of Jewish faith. But, if Hitler did not persecuted the Jews then someone else in history may still have done it. There were many other people who were disgusted by the Jewish community. This same event was possible in the power of men like Fidel Castro and Saddam Hussein who's power is overwhelming in their countries.

Back to The Future

There are two main things which our group believes would have changed this event in a more positive direction. One is if the Versailles treaty had not been created or enforced upon the german people the depression which forced so many into severe poverty and anger would have been less severe leaving Germany with a healthier standard of living and a clearer thought ability. In other words if your people aren't starving there less likely to do something stupid. The second thing which would have needed to change to push Germany into a more positive way and avoid the Holocaust would be to never allow the Nazi party or Hitler into power. "You don't put a mental patient in absolute control of your country, come on!!

IF THINGS HAPPENED A DIFFERENT WAY

If there was no WWI would there still have been a Holocaust?  What if Germany's economy never really suffered, then there would be no reason to blame a certain group. So maybe the Holocaust would not of happened. Or if Hitler never became Chancellor of Germany or what if he never even existed. Maybe if another powerful figure was brave enough to take on Germany's problems, he could of turned Germany's economic situation around and brought stability back into the country without hatred.

Traveling further back in history, what if the past German culture was not as anti-semetic. And the Jewish people were more accepted through out the world. This factor easily could of changed the events.
